<p>Since when is it fine not to reply when someone sends you a text or email?</p>
<div>Sure, you return the call or message if they are prospective buyers for your widget or service. But a thoughtful action to connect with you? Someone taking their time to think of you?</div>
<h3>Naaaa! WIIFM (What&#8217;s in it for me)</h3>
<div>It is amazing to me how many people simply do not respond. Are we really to a point where the lifeblood of our relationships suffer anemia? Is it Apathy? Laziness?</div>
<div>I must be the crazy one who believes in the etiquette of returning a phone call, email, or text message. You don&#8217;t have to get into a long conversation. I know you are busy. You have a lot going on. But a 3 minute phone call or email? A 30 second text message? Isn&#8217;t it worth it?</div>
<h3>People only care what you know when they know that you care.</h3>
<div>When they know you care, they want to give you their business, their love, their time. They want you to lead them. You want to build meaningful relationships and a network of dependable resources? You want to separate yourself from average?</div>
<h3>Call back. Reply.</h3>
<div>A little etiquette goes a long way in developing friends, clients, and fans. Responding builds bridges that relationships can be forged on.</div>
