“It’s better to burn out than fade away.”
Thanks to Vic Magary, I ran across this video last week. It’s about a guy named Stephen Jepson. For the last four or five decades he has devoted his life to purposeful play.

We typically think of play as the goofing off childish variety. While this isn’t in all cases bad, the kind we should engage in primarily should be child-like and fueled by wonder, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
Stephen Jepson plays this way. He challenges his mind and body to constantlydo new things. We should live more like this and shatter our comfort zones daily.
And that’s the secret to never fading away.
